A new request window
The Connection request window is simpler: the e-mail of the one connecting with a tick when the service has confirmed it, their computer, the account's age, the warning about scammers and a large verification code. The permissions are folded into one Permissions line: it shows what the one connecting gets, and you can switch off what is not needed.
-
The request over all windows
When the app is minimised, closed to the tray or behind other windows, only the request window comes, over everything, and the app itself does not open. A short chime comes with the request.
-
Block a stranger
Under Decline there is I don't know who this is: it offers Block and Block and report. A blocked person can no longer send requests to any of your computers, even knowing the password: the block reaches every computer of your account at once. The blocked list is in Settings, and you can unblock there, everywhere at once too.
-
Reports
A report goes to the service along with who the person claimed to be. After reports from three different people the account is blocked everywhere and cannot connect to anyone.
-
Permissions on from the start
The request window turns on everything the one connecting asks for: control and the clipboard. A stranger is still held back by the warning, the verification code and holding Accept.
-
The host in a system service on Windows
On Windows this computer is now served by a system service, as with TeamViewer: it can be controlled even when the app is closed, and once you sign in to Windows it is reachable by itself. Windows run as administrator, such as VMware or Task Manager, now follow the mouse and keyboard too. User Account Control windows and the sign-in screen will come in later versions.
-
Installed for the whole computer
On Windows EnotRemote is installed for all users of the computer and asks for administrator rights once. The earlier install removes itself, and your sign-in, address and allowed computers stay.
-
The address book on all devices at once
Changes to the address book made on another of your devices show at once, without a restart: new computers, renames, groups and the blocked.
-
This computer in the list
If this computer is in My computers, it is marked This computer, and you cannot connect to it: neither from its card nor by its address.
